The Château's decor was simply enchanting, with its beautiful antique furniture and elegant touches. The general areas were impeccably maintained, making it a pleasure to explore the château's grounds and take leisurely walks. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with wide hallways and well-placed handrails that made moving around the property easy and safe.
It would have been ideal if there were more assistance available for senior guests, especially with luggage and any other needs that may arise.

The rooms at Chateau Du Maurier were absolutely amazing! They were so cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The private bathrooms with showers were a total plus, and the hairdryer provided was super convenient. As a relaxed and laid-back guest, I couldn't have asked for a better room!
Personally, I didn't really dig the fact that all the units had a private bathroom with a shower. But hey, that's just my opinion!

The property was absolutely mind-blowing, with stunning views of the lake and beautifully furnished rooms. The cleanliness was super impressive. The breakfast served was jaw-dropping, offering a wide variety of fruits, fresh apple juice, croissants, and more. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff made us feel at ease and well taken care of. The information provided was very informative and helpful. The grounds were excellent to stroll in and we loved using the rowing boat on the lake. The black swans following us around added a touch of magic to our stay. The spacious room and bathroom were just perfect. The relaxing ground floor was a great space to unwind. We also enjoyed the small but interesting shrine to St Martin in La Fontaine. The nearby Chateau le Tude and quiet roads were ideal for exploring. We highly recommend this place for lunch in bistros rather than restaurants. And lastly, seeing our host Eric on horseback was a sight to behold. Can't wait to go back and make more amazing memories.

The breakfast was mind-blowing, fit for a chateau! The grounds are extensive and perfect for a pre-dinner walk. We had a room upgrade and the character of the property was jaw-dropping. The staff, especially Joey, went above and beyond to make our stay super special.

The property is stunning, exuding elegance and charm. The well-maintained grounds and beautiful gardens create a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast provided was out of this world, offering a variety of delicious options. I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit, melon, croissants, and baguettes with cheese. The views of the lake were lovely, and the opportunity to use the rowing boat added a fun element to our stay. The staff, especially Joey, were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. I highly recommend this hotel for its character, sophistication, and impeccable service.
There were a few minor cleanliness issues with the room, such as smears on the mirrors and a bathroom that could have been cleaner. Additionally, the lack of a bar or restaurant in the town was a missed opportunity, as it would have been nice to enjoy a glass of wine upon arrival.
